Village Design Statement

There are two versions of this document on the website, one in plain text, and one in "portable document format", more commonly referred to as Adobe Acrobat format.

If you have Adobe Acrobat (or Adobe Reader, as it is now called) installed on your computer, and you have a fast internet connection, we strongly advise you to choose this format. If you are not sure whether you have Adobe Reader installed and choose this format, you will be prompted to install the required software if you so wish.

If, however, you have a slow internet connection (the Acrobat version is quite a large file) you may prefer to choose the plain text version. Even so, it may be worth waiting a few minutes for the Acrobat version to load, as it will provide a richer experience.
